How do I shop with my Argos Card?

Before you start shopping, please make sure the back of your Argos Card is signed – for security reasons.

Up until 11pm Saturday 25th April, you can use your physical card in-store at either Argos or Sainsbury's. Or you can shop with it online at argos.co.uk – don't forget to click 'save card details' when you checkout to save you time in the future. Or just go to Your Account to save your card details. Remember... when you pay for a Click Collect order using your Argos Card, you'll need to bring the card with you when you collect your order instore. This is so we can verify your identity and protect your account.

After 11pm Saturday 25th April 2026, your Argos Card will update to Argos Pay. After the update, you won't be able to use your account as a payment method at Sainsbury's (including Sainsbury's Local stores) or Sainsbury's petrol stations. Please refer to the email/ letter from us about the changes to your Argos Card Agreement and account which includes a table of changes along with a copy of the updated Agreement (called the Argos Pay Agreement) which we sent you in March.

From 27th April 2026, you'll no longer need your physical Argos Card when you shop at Argos or Habitat. You'll pay digitally with Argos Pay using a username and passcode. You'll also use your mobile to pay online instore and collect your items instantly, subject to stock availability.
