How to apply for Argos Pay

It's quick and easy to apply. You can apply while you shop online at Argos or Habitat, or apply to be ready for future purchases.

To apply you need to meet the following criteria; have lived in the UK for at least a year and be 18 years old or over, have a UK mobile and email address and not already have an Argos Card or Argos Pay account.

You can check your eligibility online anytime, or you can do it while you're shopping online:
1. Add item(s) to your trolley, then choose Argos Pay when you come to pay.
2. Complete an eligibility check so we can show you what plans, credit limit and offers you're eligible for.
3. See your payment options and pick one. What you're offered will depend on what's in your trolley and your circumstances when you apply.
Before putting your application through a full credit check, which will be recorded on your credit file, Argos Pay will run a no-risk eligibility check to see how likely it is you'll be accepted. This won't affect your credit score.

If you've recently opened several credit accounts or applied for a number of credit products in a short space of time, this could reduce your credit score. This is because lenders wish to lend responsibly and avoid customers taking on more credit than they can afford.
Argos Pay can be used online at Argos and Habitat for click & collect and home delivery orders. You can't use Argos Pay through the tills or self-serve kiosks in our Argos stores or in Sainsbury's (including petrol stations). If you're in an Argos store, you can use your own mobile device to buy online using Argos Pay and click and collect.

Remember that if your Argos Card account has moved to Argos Pay you'll need to register your online account before you can spend. If you haven't yet, you can do so here: Online Account Manager.

You still have the option to pick up from store if you've purchased using Argos Pay online, remember you just need your order number collection code from your Argos confirmation email.
