I used to choose what part of my balance my payments went towards. Why has this changed?

Previously with your Argos Card account, you could choose what part of your balance your payments went towards. With Argos Pay, your payments are applied automatically, so you don't have to worry about what plan to prioritise. Your payments will be allocated in a way that reduces the interest you pay and to maintain any plans you have on your account. This helps keep your account running smoothly.
