We've gathered together some Frequently Asked Questions to help during Black Friday and in the lead up to Christmas.

What are your store opening hours over Christmas?
Our store opening hours are below:

Sunday 22nd December - 8am – 7pm
Monday 23rd December - 8am – 7pm
Tuesday 24th December - 8am – 7pm
Wednesday 25th December - Closed
Thursday 26th December – 9am – 6pm
Friday 27th December - Normal opening hours
Saturday 28th December - Normal opening hours
Sunday 29th December - Normal opening hours
Monday 30th December - Normal opening hours
Tuesday 31st December - 8am – 7pm
Wednesday 1st January - 8am – 8pm

Can I return an unwanted Christmas gift?
Of course! Items purchased from Friday 27th September 2024 to Wednesday 25th December 2024 can be returned right up to Friday 31st January 2025.

How do I check if an item is in stock?
It's super simple to check if an item is in stock.

Simply click on the item you want and pop your postcode in the box on the right-hand side. We can then let you know if the product is in stock, and available for home delivery or collection from your nearest store.

How will I know when my order is ready to collect?
When your order's ready to collect in store, you'll receive a text or email to let you know.

Simply pop into your chosen store and head to the dedicated collections counter with your reservation number and collection code.

Just so you know, if you paid using your Argos Card, you'll need to bring this card with you when you collect your order.

What if I have an issue with my item?
We're sorry that you have a problem with your product.

How do I use a Promotional code?
Here's how to use a code online:

  1. Copy the code (or scribble it down).
  2. Paste or enter the code in the 'Promo codes, Gift cards & Flexecash' section of the payment stage
  3. Click 'add promo code'
  4. Voilà! You're done!

Here's how to use it instore:

  1. Check the T&Cs to see if the code can be used instore.
  2. Quote the code at the till when paying for your item.
  3. If the code can be redeemed in store, the money will be removed at the till.

What is the latest I can order to receive my delivery in time for Christmas?

  • Click & Collect - Order online for immediate collection on thousands or your favourite products, brands and gifts, up until store closing times on Christmas Eve.
  • Fast Track same day delivery - Order by 12pm on Christmas Eve for delivery by 5pm, the very same day.
  • Fast Track next day delivery - Order by 12am on Monday 23rd December for delivery on Christmas Eve.
  • Standard delivery - Order by 12am on Sunday 22nd December for our cheapest delivery options in time for Christmas.
  • Large item home delivery -Order larger items such as furniture and appliances by 19th December for delivery by Christmas Eve.

*Subject to availability. Availability of fulfilment options will be displayed at checkout. Our Fast Track same day delivery service covers 90% of UK postcodes. Exceptional demand may restrict home delivery availability.
