What do I need to know about Furniture Care?

SIT BACK. RELAX. ARGOS FURNITURE CARE CAN COVER IT.
When you imagined your dream lounge or bedroom, you didn't picture your new furniture with spills, rips, tears or burns on it.
With Furniture Care to protect and restore your Argos or Habitat furniture, you can enjoy that show home feeling for longer.

HOW DO I BUY ARGOS CARE?

We sell Argos Care at the same time you buy your Argos or Habitat product. When shopping online, you'll see the product insurance options when you add your item to your trolley. Alternatively, you can purchase Argos Care at your nearest store. If you've got something from Argos but are not quite sure if you want product insurance, you've got 45 days from when you bought it to add Argos Care. Just pop in-store with your receipt and one of our colleagues will get it sorted for you. Your product will be covered right away. Phew, that's a relief.

SO, WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Accidental damage cover – from the moment you get your furniture which includes:
    - spills resulting in a stain on your fabric or leather upholstery
    - rips, tears or burns to your fabric or leather upholstery
    - scratches, punctures or scuffs to leather upholstery
    - breakage of frame components
  • Pet cover – two claims per duration of cover for damage caused by pets, but there's no limit to the number of claims you can make for stains
  • A brand–new replacement or vouchers – if we can't repair your furniture, you'll get a replacement or Argos vouchers
  • If we replace your product - we'll pay for delivery

AND WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?

  • Deliberate damage
  • Wear and tear
  • Neglect, abuse or misuse
  • Commercial use
  • Changes in colour of any part of the product
  • Structural defects or accidental damage where they are covered by another guarantee or warranty

MAKING A CLAIM - WE'RE HERE FOR YOU

The true test of any insurance is when you need to make a claim. With Argos Furniture Care, it couldn't be simpler. You've got two options.

Calls cost the basic rate per minute plus your phone company's access charge, except calls to 0800 numbers which are free. Lines are open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.

Purchased your policy on or before 27th January 2023? We have changed our Furniture Care Insurance provider to Domestic General.
