Trusted Sellers

Trusted Sellers are brands or retailers who sell on Argos. We check and approve every seller to make sure they meet our standards.

How to tell if an item is from a Trusted Seller

If an item is sold by a Trusted Seller, you'll see the label 'Trusted Seller' or the name of the seller next to the item where it's listed on Argos.

  • When you’re browsing items, we’ll always let you know if your item is sold by a Trusted Seller. We’ll mention it on every page.

  • When something is in your trolley and you’re going through checkout, we’ll tell you the name of your Trusted Seller.

  • Log into your account. All Trusted Seller items will have a "Contact seller" button.

How to contact a seller in 3 easy steps

  • We’ll send an order confirmation email for everything you buy. Go to the email and tap: “View full order details”.

  • You’ll then be taken to the Order Details Page, from there tap the “Contact seller” button.

  • From here you can message the seller directly with queries relating to your order. As soon as they respond, you'll get an email.

What's different when buying from a Trusted Seller?

A lot of things work exactly the same, but a few things are slightly different. Those differences are listed here.

Payments

Browsing and shopping works the same, but your payment goes to the Trusted Seller, not to Argos.

You'll earn Nectar Points the same as you would for a regular Argos order.


Many payment options like Credit & Debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay can be used.

Unlike regular Argos items, you cannot buy Trusted Seller items using Argos Pay, gift cards or your Nectar points.

Delivery

The Trusted Seller will organise your delivery courier (e.g DPD, Evri). You'll always be sent a link when your item is out for delivery so you can track your courier's progress.

Trusted Sellers are responsible for getting your item to you on time. This is the time you saw in checkout when making your purchase.

Support

So you can get the exact information you need, Trusted Sellers will be on hand to answer any queries or questions you have about your order. They should get back to you within 12 working hours but it's often much quicker. Please don't contact Argos support teams as our team won't be equipped to answer your questions.

Returns

You cannot return Trusted Seller items to an Argos store. This might change in the future but for now, you'll either post your item back, or the seller will arrange a courier to come and collect it.

Your data

To enable a Trusted Seller to fulfil your order we need to share some personal information with them. The Trusted Seller acts as a data controller for the personal information we share and they will look after the information in accordance with relevant data protection laws.
