We're unable to change a Click & Collect order to home delivery once it's placed. If you prefer a home delivery service, you can cancel your order and then place a new one for delivery. You can also just allow your order to expire (i.e. don't collect the item/s), and we'll automatically process your refund after the collection window has lapsed.
Please note that it's currently not possible to cancel orders for items that are directly fulfilled by a supplier. You can allow the collection window to expire, or wait for the notification that your order is ready for collection then proceed to the store and inform them that you no longer require the item. A full refund will then be issued to your original payment method.
Conversely, if you'd like to collect your order from a collection point instead of having it delivered, you will need to cancel the order and then place a new one for Click & Collect. Please note that the number of days it takes for the funds to show up in your account depends on your original mode of payment.

We don't currently offer the option to reserve items. You will need to place and pay for your order online, and you can then select home delivery or in-store collection.
If you choose to collect your item from store, once you've placed your order we'll hold it for 7 days for you. In some cases, this can be extended for a further 7 days, you can find out more here.
We also have the option to order and pay in-store.
Simply click on the item you want and pop your postcode in the box on the right-hand side. We can then let you know if the product is in stock, and available for home delivery or collection from your nearest store.
If the product you want isn't available at your chosen store but we have stock available to move, we'll let you know when we could get it there for you. We'll also show you the closest stores, whether they have your item in stock or how quickly we can get it there.
Some items are available for delivery only and you'll be advised of this when you add an item to your trolley.
Top tip: Ordering online? If you stay logged in, we'll remember your last store so you'll know as you shop if your things are in stock.

Digital download codes are delivered to the email address that's provided online and will be received within two hours of payment.
If you haven't received your code, it's possible the email has been delivered to your junk folder.

We have a range of digital download codes for Xbox and PlayStation consoles and these can be ordered online only. Your digital download code will be sent by email so it's important that we have the right email address for you.
You'll receive your email within 2 hours of placing your order, don't forget to check your junk/spam folder in case it lands in there.

Did you know that not all of our furniture is self-assembly? Some furniture items come fully assembled. Check out the product description of each item to see if it's a self-assembly or fully assembled product.

The best way to place an order is to sign in to your account, or create a new account. You'll then be able to track and manage all your orders from one location. To create a new account, click 'Account' at the top of the page and follow the steps.
You can also check out as a guest, when placing an order online. To do this, you'll need to provide some contact details including your name, telephone number and address.
Getting a VAT receipt is super easy. You can do it in-store or online.
You need to have paid by credit card, debit card or American Express. If it's a proof of purchase you need, till receipts and order confirmations can be used for this purpose.
If your code isn't working, double check the following things:
The Tu collection on argos.co.uk is separate to tuclothing.co.uk and Tu inside Sainsbury's stores.
The pricing setup is also different - so you may occasionally see a Tu clothing item, that has a different price on argos.co.uk to another 'seller' of Tu Clothing.

We have a range of different locations where we hold stock of our items, including Tu clothing.
Depending on what you've ordered, we may split your order into several 'mini orders' for ease and speed, and they may be sent out at different times. If we do divide you order into 'mini orders', you'll also be sent separate emails for each one.
If you've chosen home delivery: Your items may arrive via more than one delivery - but don't worry, you'll receive delivery updates via email.
And if you're collecting from store: You can still collect all your items in one go if you prefer - just wait till you've received 'ready to collect' emails for all your items first.

Some of the items Argos sells, such as video games and technology can be purchased before the product is released, which is called a pre-order.
To pre-order an item, you must checkout and pay for it in full. When checking out, you'll be given an estimated date of when you can expect to receive the item. We'll then communicate to you nearer the release date when this will be delivered, and who by. If the release date changes at any point we'll contact you to let you know.

If you ordered online and paid by Credit Card, Debit Card or American Express, you'll find a link to download a VAT receipt in Your Account. Simply log in, go to 'Orders' and select 'View Order Details' for the item you want the VAT receipt for.
If you ordered in store and gave an email address, you'll have been emailed a receipt that will have a quick link button to download your VAT receipt, as many times as you need.
If you're unable to get a VAT receipt with the above options, contact our customer service team with your order number and they'll be happy to help.
